- Quinte Sunrise is holding an Art and Wine evening Nov 22. Cost is $15 each. Venue is Sans Souci in Belleville.
- R Daphne will attend Camp Enterprise meeting Nov 20.
- R Mark advised that Murray Centenial Public School has reached out about coats for kids. Board / club confirmed to support Murray Centenial and provide needed coats for kids.
- R Ricardo advised that committee met Monday evening to select outbound exchange student for next year. A difficult decision but Ethan Taylor was selected.
- We have a new storage cabinet at the Smoke House. Thanks to R Clay for arranging this.
- November 16 - Brighton's Santa Clause parade. We have been invited to R Emily's home for social after the parade.
- Christmas dinner and social December 5 at Whistling Duck. Cost is $5 and your own meal. Bring your own drink and snacks to share at Chris's home. 48 have signed up to attend.
- 'Paint Night' to be held at the Community Centre, Thursday November 29th. Cost will be $40 each for all supplies and snacks. Passed hat to purchase drinks and collected $113. Presently 26 signed up.

- District Conference next year - Rotary Muskoka Style at JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort and Spa - October 25 - 27, 2019. Early registration fee $299.
- Rotary Leadership Institute, (RLI). First one this year is Nov 17. R Joyce attending. Club will cover registration fee for any Rotarian attending.
- Plaque at new Library recognizing Rotary contribution will read: 'Brighton Public Library gratefully acknowledges the generous donation of the Henry Hayes Memorial Fund through the Rotary Club of Brighton.'
- R Chris advised that club donated $750 to Christmas Hamper program. We are waiting on dates to put hampers together and deliver.
- R Chris and R Mark on behalf of Diners and Duffers are looking for new advertisers. 1/4 page add is $125 and about 4,000 copies printed. Deadline next week.
Eloisa's Report:
1. First snow day.
2. Toronto last week with Brazilian couple, had Brazilian food and spoke Portugese
3. Auxilory meeting this week.
4. She changes host family next week.
5. Sunday to Toronto to see Santa Claus Parade.
6. Wednesday she is presenting history of Brazil to her History class.
Presentations:
Presented Martha Warren a cheque for $500 for the Threads program at ENSS. Martha is very thankful for Rotary's financial donations and for donations of cloths.
Presented cheque for $25,000 to Jim Miller for the new stage and washrooms at Memorial Park in Brighton. Jim said this was a 2 1/2 year project spearheaded by Jim Waterhouse. An 'amazing' project, so positive and community support. Every one loves it and wonderful venue already used.

50/50: $18 won by R Chris who donated it to Foundation. There was some whining about how long since last win.
Happy Bucks: driveway cleared by neighbour, Threads program at ENSS, interact sells hot chocolate and kids want to know money going to Threads, band shell great, snowman making today, birthday card from Eloisa, raked leaves before snow came, 1st snow fall, raking leaves for a week, good meeting and message from DG Mary Lou last week, 2 happy kids and dog love the snow, for the snow, correction - graduated in 1981, for visitors tonight, christmas lights.
Rotary Minute: R Emily shared history of the 4 Way Test. Created in 1932 to save a business in trouble. Meant to guide sales and staff in their dealings with clients. It was attributed as saving the company and Herb Taylor who created it and went on to be RI president. Adopted by Rotary in 1943.
