Former inbound exchange student Kaisa was delayed due to flight changes. Hope to have her with us March 2.
Karen White from Relay for Life gave us brief update on changes and why.
Karen advised that they changed format this year due to declining teams / participation in the Brighton walk. This year they are combining with Quinte West.
June 2, 2018 starting at 11am to 11pm at Trenton High School will be the Quinte West - Brighton Relay for Life. Their goal is to raise $85,000 this year.
Brighton has been very supportive. Especially Brighton Rotary.
On April 12th, there will be a special luminary celebration in Brighton at the Community Centre starting at 6:30pm. Luminary part to take place at Rotary gazebo in the park.
On March 27 there will be a volunteer awards event. Letters going out shortly and Brighton Rotary invited.
