Daniella's Report:

Daniella went dog sledding last weekend. She was wearing the shirt to prove it. The weekend started by missing school on Friday to drive up to Minden / Haliburton area. Appears there was a lot of talk on the trip up about badgers.
The exchange students enjoyed going in hot tub and then rolling in the snow. Daniella noted that these 'so called' Canadian activities are not really done by many Canadians.
Dog Sledding on Saturday was really cool. They each got to ride in sleigh and to mush from back and run with the dogs.
She would like to do it again.
They also went snow shoeing Sunday morning early in the very cold.
They visited a wolf sanctuary. She saw a stuffed moose and had her picture taken with it.
On Wednesday this week she visited the Canoe Museum in Peterborough.
This weekend she is going dog sledding in Minden area. R Joyce attending as well as student Anne-Sophie who joined us for breakfast this morning.

Daniella's Bucket List:
Play hockey
Niagara Falls
CN tower
Algonquien Park
See a moose
See a beaver
See a possum
See a bear
Play in the snow
Volunteer (animal shelter?)
See leaves change color
Ottawa (skate on the Rideau canal)
Go skiing
Swim in Lake Ontario
Cliff jump (?😬)
See the northern lights
Go to New York City?
See a baseball game
See a rugby game
See an american football game
See a ice hockey game
Try beaver tail (not from a real beaver)

Song: no song today so sad

Happy Bucks: for presentation and background, hoping to take granddaughter to France end of May, picture of R Craig swimming in Brighton Bay early that morning, weather, daughter back from south shortly, trip to Florida and future trip to Dominican, for past and for future, Brighton Health Services Centre and early Rotarian's involvement to make it happen, stories of Brian Todd and his involvement in community and lives of people including personal scolding for bad decisions and motivation to make better choices.

Rotary Minute:  March is Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Month. Rotary promotes and supports good hygiene habits through education such as proper hand washing with soap and water. This can reduce diarrhea and other diseases such as Covid 19.
