- This was our first trial on-line Zoom meeting.
- We will have next Zoom regular club meeting Friday April 24th at 8am.
- Spelling Bee for 2020 cancelled.
- Diners and Duffers booklets on hold. Committee going out to restaurants and golf clubs asking if they will honour coupons to March 31, 2022, an additional year. Then we will put sticker with change on books and sell when safe to do so.
- Adventures in Citizenship cancelled. Cost paid last fall was $675. There were some cost so we were offered rebate of $370 which we now have. Colborne Rotary share costs so they will send cheque to Brighton for $150 as discussed between R Chris and ADG Shirley.
- Inbound Exchange Student Daniella going home Sunday. She is not happy about it. R Liesje is taking her a mask and will advise that when we can again gather, we will send her a picture of the club and signed Canadian Flag.
- Ethan Taylor outbound student in Sweden appears his flight home delayed a week.
Upcoming Rotary Events:
- 2020 Rotary District Conference theme is 'Heroes and Champions' and will be held at Toronto Weston Prince Hotel October 23-25, 2019.
- Rotary District 7070 is going to the Dominican Republic March Break 2021. A service opportunity - sweat equity.
