We were graced this morning by the singing of O'Canada by our own R Liesje. Very good.

Oh how we miss some Rotarians.
- Next board meeting Tuesday November 17 at 6:30pm. This will be via Zoom now.
- Bottle Drive at King Edward Park near tennis courts - Saturday November 21 from 10am to 2pm. There was a bit of a rush to fill spots for this bottle drive.
- R Emily is getting feed back from schools about early needs. At this time, not overwhelming. Schools have asked for extra hats and mitts when kids loose them or they get wet or ??
- Diners and Duffers for 2021 going ahead. Looking for new advertisers. $125 for black and white 1/4 page ad. Also confirming past advertisers and looking for new.
- Global grant project in Braxil, all the money is in place. Water filters ordered and take delivery likely in December. Rogerio will keep us updated.
- Dorothy Andrews, wife or former Rotarian Gord Andrews has received benefactor wings but they came to Brighton. We are looking for who has address for Dorothy now.
- Last night there were a couple enjoyable birthday celebrations.
- club approved $60 wreath for Remembrance Day activities this year.
- With support from the Legion of $200, the Brighton Lions, Kinsmen and Rotary will cover costs for needed equipment for young Brighton family and their daughter Meredith. Cost to club $563 approved at previous Director's meeting.
- Due to bad weather anticipated for Sunday, we moved Brighton Foundation Walk in Presquile to Sunday November 15. 10am start at R Joyce's home.
- Janet not doing well and struggling with depression. A nurse comes in daily. Our prayers and thoughts are with her and family.
- New You tube episode up - Jan Hoselton presentation.
Upcoming Rotary Events:
- District is encouraging clubs to do their own Foundation Walk - have fun raising money for the Foundation. Timeline is October / November, share on social media. District plans to host walk in spring when we can safely. There are prizes for:highest amount collected per walkermost steps walked by clubmost creative way to raise money for the Foundation.
- 2020 Rotary District Conference theme is 'Heroes and Champions' and will be now April 9 to 11, 2021, at Pan Pacific Toronto (formerly Weston Prince Hotel).
- Rotary District 7070 is going to the Dominican Republic March Break 2021. A service opportunity - sweat equity.

Happy Bucks: Happy birthday Sandy Jeff only had eyes for you, Christmas Craft sale at 107 Mills Road Saturday Nov 7 from 10am - 2pm in the garage, grandson helped put patio furniture away and got a case of beer for his efforts but not sure yet how that worked out, still able to meet via zoom, looking forward to beautiful day Sunday Nov 15..
