  • No Frills $1,000 raffle - last weekend. R Murray reminded people of shifts. Draw will be Sunday March 25 at end of last shift. R Chris advised to-date 707 tickets sold for $2,625 gross and net $1,950.

  • Reminder, R Daphne will take milk bags and old batteries to schools.
  • Brighton Rotary Golf Tournament at Barcovan June 18, 2018. R Victoria handed out duty lists to POD's. At end of meeting, POD's asked to organize and assign duties to POD members.
  • Tentative date for President's BBQ - July 3 at R Dan T' home. Need caterer.
  • Street Dance will be July 28th.
  • Interclub BBQ - August 20 at Proctor Park. Hope to have help from Campbellford with large trailer with tables and chairs.
  • Applefest Food Booth - September 29
  • R Victoria proposed Octoberfest Dance October 20 instead of auction. By show of hands this was favorable.
  • R Daphne says there are 32 students registered for Camp Enterprise, they need 56 minimum. She has 14 + 2 exchange students from ENSS. Daphne is looking for drivers May 3 and 5, sponsors at $300 each, and mentors.
  • R Victoria announced Curling Club is having a fundraising golf tournament at TimberRidge May 12. Cost is $99.
  • R Shirley advised the following District events - DG President's end of year celebration July 8, something Sept 8, Foundation Walk Sept 30 at McMichael Gallery in Kleinburg.
  • D7070 Curling Bonspiel - Sunday March 25 - 9am to 2pm  at Oshawa Golf and Country Club. Cost = $200 per team.
  • D7070 Membership Seminar #1 to be held at Cobourg Best Western - Saturday April 7, 8am to 2pm.
  • R Al advertised Trenton Rotary Surf & Turf dinner and auction to be held at Air Force Museum - Friday April 27. Tickets $65 each or 4 for $250.
  • Nathan Kelly Fundraiser at Keeler Centre May 5 - live entertainment.
  • R Murray confirmed Fishing Derby May 4-6. He will have duty roster soon.
  • Big Give June 2 - will be Bar B Q? Need volunteers.
  • District Conference next year to be held in Wellington October 27th. 'Rotary Reunion'. Easy to attend and minimal cost. Register in D7070 web site, also opportunity to host fellow Rotarian from away.
  • R Shirley advised that Belleville Poker Walk April 28 will be a virtual walk.
  • Wellington Rotary Clubs annual dinner and auction will be Saturday August 25 at Highline Hall in Wellington, theme Saturday Night Fever Disco Ball. If you have a disco all they would appreciate borrowing it.
