  • R Murray announced 120 attended Interclub BBQ. 50/50 raised $162 and net was $300.
  • R Victoria advised Food Drive at No Frills August 31st was successful.
  • R Dave advised of Rotary providing BBQ services to Spring Valley Public School September 14th.
  • Membership applications for Keith Joyce and Allan McIntosh approved by Board, now circulated to club.

  • Foundation Walk in Whitby Sunday September 10th. Advise Steve if you can attend and pledges appreciated.
  • Club is encouraging Rotarians who have never attended District Conference by providing $100 towards their registration. Go to District web site to register.
  • R Clay announced Smart Serve Training with Belleville Rotary - Saturday October 21. Cost = $25.
  • Past RI President Wilf Wilkinson is promoting clubs to raise money for landmine removal.
  • R Daphne thanked Rotarians for the donation to the school in Nepal.
  • R Ricardo announced that exchange student Emmy arrived in Canada last Friday. She will attend the student orientation in Trenton September 9th.
  • R Ricardo said that outbound exchange student Abby left for France August 28th.
  • R Mark requested donations for the Northumberland Ride for Hospitals on September 9th.
